Mitchell & Jeysha

A Love Story Framed by Timeless Architecture

There are certain places that seem to hold their breath; where time slows down, and moments linger a little longer. The Howey Mansion in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida, is one of those places.

Nestled in the quiet hills just outside Orlando, this historic estate was the perfect backdrop for Mitchell and Jeysha’s engagement session. Their wedding will take place at The Secret Garden at Paradise Spring in Lithia, FL next year. But for this shoot, they wanted something that felt elegant, dreamy, and truly timeless , and the Howey Mansion delivered that and more.

The couple’s style was simple yet stunning. Mitchell wore a classic black suit paired with white sneakers; a modern twist that kept things relaxed and true to his personality.

Jeysha’s white gown draped gracefully with a soft train, flowing beautifully in the warm June breeze.

As they stood beneath the mansion’s arches, hand in hand, the moment felt cinematic , like a quiet scene from an old film.

These are the kinds of moments I love capturing most, when a couple simply enjoys being together, and their connection tells the story. With their wedding coming up near Tampa next year, this engagement session was a perfect prelude to what’s ahead.  A celebration of love, elegance, and timeless style.

Mitchell and Jeysha’s love is calm yet radiant, modern yet classic; a perfect reflection of everything I strive to capture in my photography: authentic emotion, editorial beauty, and true-to-color storytelling.

The Charm of the Howey Mansion

Built in the 1920s, the Howey Mansion is one of Central Florida’s most enchanting historic homes. Its Mediterranean Revival architecture, weathered stone, and graceful archways give every photograph a cinematic, old-world atmosphere.

You can almost hear the echoes of jazz from another century as the afternoon light spills through the corridors. For Mitchell and Jeysha, this venue perfectly reflected their vision, romantic, euphoric, and full of classic beauty.

The Howey Mansion is ideal for couples who want their engagement or wedding portraits to feel sophisticated, editorial, and deeply romantic.
